In April 2015, Arizona’s governor (Gov.Ducey) issued orders placing gay couples on equal footing with others related to adoption and fostering children. As of this update in April 2015, cases are pending before the United States Supreme Court regarding states’ rights to limit or regulate within this topic. The following article is for posterity and reflects legal challenges historically, but today’s Summary is the precursor to the nation’s pulse and where Arizona has landed.
